2026 Crozet Gators Swim Team
CGST (Crozet Gators Swim Team) is a summer-only, volunteer-run swim team. We are the largest team in the Jefferson Swim League (JSL). We love to compete, however, our main focus is on swim strokes, personal improvement, and fun. It's a great way to spend your summer! We have swimmers of all abilities and always welcome new swimmers to our team.
2026 Season Start
Monday, May 18 will be for NEW CGST competitive swimmers (all ages swim 4:30-5:15). This will help new swimmers experience their first practice in smaller groups.
NEW: ALL CGST Parent meeting 5:30-6:15; ALL CGST Picnic at the Park 6:15-7:00
Tuesday, May 19-Friday, May 29 will be full practice schedule for all competitive swimmers!
Except: **No practice, Monday, May 25 (Memorial Day)**
NOTE: Hatchling Program starts June 8th

Our Mission
We aim to build a community where all people, especially our young athletes, are encouraged to develop their fullest potential in spirit, mind, and body. We hope to provide a healthy, challenging, and rewarding growth experience through swimming for athletes in the Western Albemarle region through our summer swimming program and the JSL Championship. We want all our swimmers to: have fun, learn the fundamentals of the sport, learn about teamwork and how to be a good team member, exhibit good sportsmanship, put forth their best effort, and accept both victory or defeat with equal grace.
